Nice skin, but I think you have mix and match the blog posting column with all the gadget. Suggest to put all your gadget (follower) on your left/right column of your blog. Preferable of 3 column template. Moreover, do add a new text gadget for Welcome Message which will remain on the frontpage of your blog.
